Project Description:
E.B.T. Retractable Platform is designed for maintainance
of tap hole on the E.A.F. It is designed to carry 5
people, tap stone, tap plate, lance and manipulator,
handtools, welders and misc. When the Platform is not
in use, it is retracted. During the tap hole maintainance
on the ELP, the Platform is extended up to 4 000 mm
and enables the access to the tap hole. It consists
of the base, retractable platform 1 and retractable
platform 2. The Platform is entered only when it is
in the extended position. Total time of Platform extension
is 15 seconds.
