Project Description:
Globex performs structural field inspections for
cranes, crane runways, and steel structures for metals
industry clients. Field inspectors document findings
which are used as the basis for a final report for the
structure or facility. Findings are categorized by level
of severity with regard to safety and operation. Included
in the final report are recommendations for repair and
repair procedures issued by Globex mechanical, civil,
or electrical engineers. (Often Globex is engaged to
help carry out repair procedures). Inspections are scheduled
plantwide or on an on-call basis with strict compliance
to our client's safety procedures.
Project Phases:
- Steel structures checking (visual checking, ultrasonic
checking of thickness)
- Critical connections checking (Bolt and rivets connections)
- Basic checking of mechanical and electrical equipment
(we provide detail checking upon Client’s request)
